POSITION DETAILS AND DUTIES : FULL-TIME POSITION; EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; TWELVE (12) MONTHS PER YEAR. BASIC FUNCTION : The job of Director of Classified Personnel is done for the purpose/s of supporting the Superintendent, Board, and department administrators in leading to increase student achievement for the purpose of developing and implementing services and programs and achieving operational goals; directing human resource programs and services for classified personnel; ensuring the principles of the Merit System are adhered to in the recruitment processes of the classified employment system; providing information and serving as a resource to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines; and serving as a member of the Extended Cabinet.
