DevOps Engineer

General Description:We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Lead with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3-5 years specializing in infrastructure automation and virtualization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS design and solution architecture, as well as hands-on experience with Terraform. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about cloud automation and enjoys staying current with industry trends.Responsibilities:Design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and solutions.Implement and manage secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure on AWS.Develop and maintain CICD pipelines for infrastructure integration and deployment.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and scalability.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.Must-Have Skills:8+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and virtualization.Strong expertise in AWS design and solutions.Proficiency in Terraform, including writing and maintaining complex Terraform scripts and modules.Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred).Hands-on experience building CICD pipelines with Jenkins using Groovy.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Bitbucket.Nice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with additional cloud platforms.Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and working on large-scale projects.Knowledge of advanced security practices for infrastructure management.Location: 100% Onsite in Jersey City, NJ.About Worky:Worky is an on-demand talent cloud platform that seamlessly connects companies with remote and vetted professionals globally.
