Senior Network Operations Engineer

LHH is currently searching for a Senior Security Network Operations Engineer for our long-term client in San Diego, CA.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL, IIS, Apache, Azure SaaSPaaS, Microsoft 365, VMware, Active Directory, mobile devices (BYOD and corporate-owned), HPEAruba, Meraki, VeloCloud, and IoT medical devices.Lead and Execute planning, design, installation, monitoring, and administration of all systems and networks.Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system and network incidents.Manage disaster recovery and business continuity processes, ensuring adherence to RPOs, RTOs, and SLAs.Implement configuration changes on network, hardware, and software systems.Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of infrastructure to support organizational growth.Conduct capacity planning and analysis.Mentor junior team membersServe as teams final escalation pointOversee and manage new integration and team projectsRequired Capabilities:Extensive experience in managing complex networks, systems, and storage in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments.Proficiency in network management, TCPIP troubleshooting, and a variety of hardware and software technologies.Expertise in server and network hardwaresoftware, including MS Solutions, VMware, and Azure virtualization.At least 7 years of experience in Information Systems, including the installation, configuration, administration, and management of data network hardware and software.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSA and Cisco CCNP.Demonstrated competency in network design (LANs, WANs, WLANs, segmentation, gateways, routers, switches, TCPIP, Ethernet protocols) and system design (OS, CIS hardening, GPO, virtualization, high-availability, backuprestore best practices).If you feel that you are a good fit for the Senior Security Network Operations Engineer role, please apply through the link.
