Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal assistant to support the estate planning practice group for their Encino office. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and has at least two years of experience in estate planning and trust administration. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and paralegals to draft estate plans, handle trust administration matters, and assist with the overall client experience. You will also manage a variety of clerical tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice.Key Responsibilities:Provide support to multiple attorneys in estate planning and trust administration matters.Collaborate with attorneys to create, review, and revise estate planning documents.Maintain consistent communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.Assist with gathering information and conducting research for cases, mediation, or trial preparation.Research legal publications and databases for relevant laws and court decisions.Draft legal forms related to probates, trust administration, controversies, and guardianships.Coordinate with court officials and opposing counsel on behalf of clients and attorneys.Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials.Manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments.Handle incoming and outgoing mail.Maintain organized client files and legal documentation.Execute and notarize legal documents with clients as required.Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the practice.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative experience in estate planning and trust administration.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software.Experience with court filings and legal research is a plus.Notary public certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Location: Encino, CAWork Setup: On-siteSalary range: $44,000 - $90,000 per annum
