Audio-Visual Support Specialist

A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, is seeking a AudioVisual Support Specialist. Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector. Additionally, comprehensive audio video skills. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in a technology related field andor minimum 7 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry.Our corporation is looking for an individual who possesses a full understanding of all areas of the AV field including but not limited to:Execute pre-production planning, logistics, verbal & written communication with various teams in the corporationManage event production timelines to ensure a timely schedule leading up to date of eventOrganizing and managing events for meetings.Providing IT meeting support.Creating and running all C-suite level events, both virtual and hybrid.Highly organized, detail-oriented, articulate, professional and the ability to work independentlyKnowledge & understanding operation of audio, video production & lighting equipmentExperience with different streaming platforms using Mac & WindowsExperience running live virtual events, mainly utilizing Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audiovideo systems.Facilitates the repair or replacement applicable hardware.Access to software updates and upgrades for hardware covered by manufacturer program.Use of online incident reporting tool for easy ticket awareness and annual business reviews.Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to:Testingrepairing cables.Testingrepairing various hardware components.Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans.Responsible for job site documentation as needed.Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to:Ongoing end user instruction and trainingMeeting setupMeeting support (i.e., AV systems management operation)Setup, operate and troubleshoot various audiovideo systems.Facilitates the repair or replacement applicable hardware.Access to software updates and upgrades for hardware covered by manufacturer program.Other:Excellent communication skills: ability to work and communicate with Executive Level clientsAbility to work independently on complex matters and to exercise sound discretion and judgment when performing job dutiesAbility to work with a variety of diverse groups and teamsPreferred Skills Desired:Industry AV CertificationsKnowledge of Crestron control a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent to 7+ years' experience within the AV event industry.Full Time Position has benefits including employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), competitive and comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, dental program, 401k, short-term and long-term disability insurance, FSA, HRA, Commuter Benefit Card, full paid vacations, and paid holidays.A-V Services Inc. provided the following inclusive hiring information:We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
