Vehicle Support Engineer

The Vehicle Support Engineer on the operations team will be actively engaged in the operational uptime of our fleet. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting troubleshooting processes, and providing real-time support for daily operations. Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to identify and resolve fleet issues. Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for technicians, incorporating newly diagnosed faults and their resolutions.Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new vehicle components.Design and implement diagnostic procedures to streamline future troubleshooting processes.Historical review of vehiclefleet data identifying trends and issues.Collaborate with engineering design teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities.Develop and implement effective countermeasures across the fleet to prevent recurring issues.Define and capture essential data points to validate issue resolution and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.Engage in cross-functional collaboraion to drive continuous improvement in vehicle performance and reliability.Availability for night and weekend shifts as needed, with advanced notice provided. Qualifications:2-4 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Experience with lowhigh voltage circuits, Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS), and how to safely troubleshoot.Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture, communications to support in an operations setting.Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, connector end viewspinout.
