Snowflake Data Engineer/Architect

Job DescriptionAs the Snowflake Data Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing data architecture on the Snowflake platform. You will lead data engineering efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and security. Your expertise will drive our clients data strategy and support our business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.Optimize data models for performance and scalability.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to define data requirements.Ensure data quality and governance best practices are followed.Mentor and guide junior data engineers in best practices and technical skills.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering and Snowflake.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.RequirementsProven experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Availability to be on-site in Midtown 3 days per week.
