Finance System ManagerSenior ManagerSan Jose, CA (hybrid)Full-timeFinance OrganizationJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced SAP S4 HANA Finance System Manager (or Senior Manager) with a strong financeaccounting background and extensive ERP functional expertise. In this role, you will lead business engagements to support strategic planning, process reengineering, and the implementation of efficient business, financial, and operational systems workflows aligned with organizational initiatives. As an SAP Finance Lead, you will leverage your deep SAP S4HANA Finance knowledge and robust IT and finance experience to drive system improvements and ensure optimal performance.Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP S4HANA Finance systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into optimal SAP solutions.Participate in strategic business planning with Finance and IT teams to develop enhancement options addressing specific functional needs or issues.Lead functional and technical teams throughout all phases of project lifecycles.Help define and identify issues that are encountered, collect data, establish facts, and assist the team in drawing valid conclusionsAble to look ahead, anticipate next steps plans, and issue identification with the continuous goal of remaining on trackUnderstands and documents inter-dependence of tasks; works across teams and exerts influence, as well as drives issues to quick resolutionConduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users on new processes and solutions.Facilitate regular meetings with project teams, stakeholders, and external consultants to monitor progress and resolve any issues.Optimize business processes using SAP S4 HANA Finance to improve operational efficiency.Ensure adherence to best practices for system security and data integrity.Ability to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environmentQualifications:Bachelor or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.3+ years of experience with SAP S4HANA -depth understanding of financial business processes, including GL, AR AP, tax, treasury, consolidation, finance planning and budgeting.Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder management.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey information clearly and tailor messages to diverse audiences to achieve desired outcomes.Profound ability to solve complex problems and drive projects to completion.Advanced knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Project toolsProven ability to influence without direct reporting relationshipsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of managementAdditional Information:For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $124,330 to $186,670. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
