Role: AWS Data EngineerLocation: Newark, NJ(Hybrid)Responsibilities:Lead geospatial data analysis projects to provide actionable insights.Oversee the integration of geospatial data with AWS services to enhance data processing capabilities. Provide expertise in AWS CloudWatch to monitor and manage geospatial data workflows. Utilize AWS Athena for efficient querying and analysis of large datasets.Ensure the effective use of AWS services to support geospatial data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Develop and maintain geospatial data models and databases.Implement best practices for data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Conduct regular reviews of geospatial data processes to identify areas for improvement. Train and mentor junior analysts on geospatial data analysis techniques and AWS services. Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and AWS services. Contribute to the development of strategies for leveraging geospatial data to achieve business goals. Qualification:Possess a strong background in geospatial data analysis and AWS services.Demonstrate proficiency in AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and managing data workflows. Show expertise in AWS Athena for querying and analyzing large datasets.Have experience in integrating geospatial data with AWS services. Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Display strong communication and collaboration abilities. Hold a degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.Preferably have certifications in AWS or geospatial technologies.
