Data & BI Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Data & BI Architect for a full-time job opportunity in Newark Delaware. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing the data architecture and this is critical to establishing a solid foundation for data management. Salary Range: $150-160K W2 with bonus eligibility and a competitive benefits packagePlease note: This is not a C2C opening.Responsibilities for the Data & BI Architect include:Designing warehouses, file systems and databases, and defining how data will be collected and organized. Designing, implementing and maintaining the structure and layout of data systems, including databases, warehouses, and lakes that meet the business requirements. Selecting and implementing database management systems that meet the company's needs by defining data schemas, optimizing data storage, and establishing data access controls and security measures. Evaluating and recommending emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics. Defining and implementing long-term technology strategy and innovations roadmaps across analytics, data engineering, and data platforms. Interacting with senior business stakeholders to secure strong engagement and ensuring that delivery of projects aligns with longer-term strategic roadmaps. Leading and participating in peer review and quality assurance of project architecture, defining and managing standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality. Simplifying existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities. Leading projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis providing proactive and appropriate communication to stakeholders. Experience for the Data & BI Architect includes:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science from an accredited institution. 10+ years of relevant experience in BI and analytics 5+ years of experience as a data architect in the design and implementation of data models for enterprise data warehouseExperience leading projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis.Experience in design and implementation of data architectures.Experience with concepts such as cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Azure Databricks, PySpark, real-time data distribution (Kafka, Dataflow), and data warehouse tools like Snowflake, DatabricksExperience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, HANA, Oracle, Hadoop, or TeradataExperience with business intelligence tools and technologies such as ETL, Power BI, and TableauExperience with programming languages such as Java, Python CC++.
