Cloud Project Manageronsite in Ridgefield Park, NJSummary:Work as an experienced cloud project manager to work with our engineering team to plan and manage multiple migration projects with various applications and ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure.Responsibilities:Assess, plan, implement andor support infraapplication migration solutions for our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programsConduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsDesigncustomize and execute migration workflows that incorporate technical steps to migrate or build infrastructure and application componentsCome up with cost reduction strategy and calculatecompare as-is vs. to-be TCO.Provide project's technical conscience, defining and driving right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needsManage onshore and offshore resources, distribute responsibilities across team members, and report on status for assigned scope of work to client stakeholdersAdhere to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goalsAct independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, making decisions that are implemented by the teamMeetinteract with our clients' application owners and infrastructure support personnel to communicate migration activities comprising implementation plans, and review sequencing and timing details of application outages and post-migration testingQualifications:Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industryMust have 4 years of experience in each of the following:Leading architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of service delivery systems tooling solutions;Validating and evaluating system architecture to align with technical design specifications;Gathering business requirements;Utilizing ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks;Collaborating effectively with account teams, client IT teams, and business process teams during pursuit and entire process for application implementationExperience working with Docker or Podman, Kubernates, andor OpenshiftExperience with administrator on variety of LinuxWindows systemsMust have 2 years of experience in Agile project management and IT quality process and policies in a validated environmentExperience on dataDB migrationKnowledge on cloud computing technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with networking, compute infrastructure such as servers, database, firewall, load balance, etc.Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning and understand architecture principles across infrastructure platformExperience with cluster configuration (Windows, Linux)Experience with information security practices and proceduresDocumentation skill using MS Office products.Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time to meet client needsMust work onsite
