Direct Placement Opportunity for a Sr Electrical Engineer in Conshohocken, PA! Position Details: Position Type: Full Time / Direct Hire Job Location: Conshohocken, PA (Relocation Assistance Available) Schedule: Hybrid, with 2-3 days in office per week Benefits: Paid Time Off , Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), Life Insurance, 401(k) Compensation: $150K to $200K annually, depending on qualifications Overview/Summary: We are seeking a senior electrical engineer with a PE license to design medium and low voltage power distribution systems, emergency generation, lighting, hazard classified areas, at life science style facilities including labs buildings, controlled environment storage and pilot plant production buildings. We will consider candidates with similar experience from other industries including hospitals, industrial settings, manufacturing, public utility companies. Responsibilities: Engineering and design of facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, equipment & construction specifications and hazardous area classifications in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet. Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications. Directing activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. Maintaining effective communication with project team members and with the customer. Using engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Performing tier reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, conformance to codes, specifications, design criteria and conformance to good engineering practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program PE, Professional Engineer license required 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of building Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash studies Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members Life Science and/or advanced manufacturing facility electrical design experience Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software, Smartplant, Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu Apply Today!
