Surgical Technologist/CST First Assistant - Full Time position at Lutheran Hospital! Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and NBSTSA certified. JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Surgical Director and clinical leadership of a registered nurse, this advanced surgical technologist organizes and prepares the surgical suite and patient for surgery. Provides immediate support to the surgeon and is a vital resource to the surgical team for procedural knowledge and skills. Provides an atmosphere that is helpful, supportive, and positive. MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Registration/Certification: Completion of an accredited surgical first assisting program Current surgical first assist certification Current surgical first assistant certification (CSFA, CSA, or SA-C) CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) is required within three (3) months of date in position Experience: Three years of surgical technologist experience preferred Equal Opportunity Employer #INDSURGIMG
