CDL B Delivery Driver

Job description Mooney-General Paper Company, located in Hillside, NJ is looking for a strong & responsible individual to drive company box trucks & deliver merchandise to customers in NJ and limited areas within NY and PA. Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (until route is finished) POSITION SUMMARY Ideal candidate must be trustworthy, hard-working, conscientious, and have good work ethic. Must safely drive company box trucks from warehouse to various customer locations, then unload truck for delivery. Responsibilities Include: Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows. Maintain Department of Transportation rules Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks (hand trucks provided) Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicle Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck comparing sales orders, sign-off on delivery tickets Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery Operate a commercial truck safely Ideal Candidate will have: 21+ years of age Must Have Hazmat Endorsement Valid Class B Commercial Driver License Ability to unload 50lbs-60lbs boxes from the truck manually Ability to push or pull or push 100lbs-200lbs with a hand truck Ability to work overtime as needed. Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S and pass an E-Verify Check. This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.
