Privileged Access Technical Engineer - 13444 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION By joining our North America Identity Governance team as a Priviledged Access Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and driving process automation within our North America Infrastructure Access Recertification programs. Partnering with our leadership team, we'll look to you to leverage your deep technical insights and expertise around identity and access management best practices to evaluate process automation opportunities within our current access management requirements and standards. Once identified, you'll build, implement, update, and maintain automated process solutions that foster our ability to ensure continuous and secure access across our North American infrastructure footprint. Your efforts herein will be instrumental in supporting the Identity Governance team on internal audits, producing operational reports for audit purposes and other automation projects over various operational processes within Information Security. In this role, you will: * Partner with Identity Governance team to review and identify automation opportunities to create efficiencies within the current process * Take on a subject matter expert (SME) role over current automated data sources that feeds into the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processing * Maintaining and supporting current ETL and automation processes to ensure they are operationally effective * Assist the Identity Governance team by performing root cause analysis and impact assessments when control exceptions or failures are identified by the audit teams * Perform Quality Assurance procedures to ensure the reviews are executed completely, accurately, and timely * Report daily status updates and results to the North American Identity Governance team to ensure alignment between teams * Support the North America Identity Governance team to integrate and automate processes in other regions outside of North America environment Qualifications * A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical process engineering, priviledged access management, or similar engineering role * Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Technology, or related discipline * Demonstrated experience with data mining and ETL scripting tools (i.e., Stealth Audit, Informatica) * Deep knowledge of Python, or a similar scripting language, as well as database platforms such as SQL; prior knowledge of and/or experience with programming languages such as Java and/or .NET is a plus * Prior experience working with automation programs and data warehouses * Strong collaboration with the Identity Governance team, in support of key privileged access controls across IT functions * Keen understanding of general IT controls relating to access management and operating environments to include mainframe, Windows, UNIX, SQL database, and cloud (Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms) * Previous knowledge of and/or experience supporting IT Audits, including engaging with both internal and external auditors, is a plus At Chubb, we are committed to equal employment opportunity and compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to it.
