We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant with initiative, resourcefulness, and excellent organizational skills to support the smooth operations of our legal department. This role is located on-site of our Bridgewater location. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including maintaining legal calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements. Organize and maintain legal files and documents in both paper and electronic formats, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings, and handle legal correspondence. File and manage documents of other legal entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant deadlines and procedures. Conduct basic legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing company legal matters. Maintain and update contact lists for legal clients, vendors, and key stakeholders. Monitor legal deadlines, manage attorney calendars, and ensure proper scheduling of hearings, meetings, and filing deadlines. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as an administrative assistant, with at least 2 years of legal administrative experience (preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department). Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and correspondence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal document management systems. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to the fast-paced nature of legal work.
