Job Title: SITE SUPERINTENDENTLocation: Syracuse, NY (On-site)Duration: Full Time: PermanentShift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a weekJOB DESCRIPTION:We're looking for a Superintendent eager to take an active role in Leading our projects. As a Site Superintendent, you will be crucial in keeping our operations on track, providing Leadership to field teams, project management, and customer teams. Your responsibilities will include coordinating material delivery schedules, managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs, and serving as a primary point of contact for internal customers. Knowledge: You are the field leader, responsible for all construction processes, safety, and quality standards. Your field experience in leading construction projects will be an asset to the team as you guide junior members of the team, work with all project stakeholders, and take exclusive responsibility for the safe execution of the project. Job Complexity: You'll tackle problems needed to make sure that the projects are completed by the EPC contract, relying on standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and find readily available solutions. This role requires you to build stable working relationships within the organization.MUST HAVE:We expect that you have at least 5 years of field construction site superintendent experience, in solar or in working for a general contractor or EPC firm.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Has a "Can do" spirit and leads the company with the support of the Project Managers, VP, and CEO. Takes on tasks and does whatever it takes to make sure that the company is successful.Supports the management team in overseeing all site activities for the megawatt-scale solar project.Supports the management team in managing all subcontractors during construction on site.Works diligently to Understand thoroughly the plans, specifications, work schedules, cost estimates, and scope of activities for which they are responsible in order to adequately instruct the subcontractor foremen in the performance of the work.Supports the management team to in managing site safety and managing adherence to the DEI safety program and standards to ensure the safety of employees, subcontractors, customers, and property.Track deliveries and coordinate delivery logistics with the DEI Project Manager.Maintain detailed daily logs of onsite activities including manpower, construction activities, field changes, deliveries, visitors, weather, installation production, etc.Attend all construction coordination meetings with clients, subs, and vendors.Responsible for quality control on site.Assist the DEI Project Manager with managing the project contract, budgets, and schedules.Develop and manage relationships with a network of subcontractors and manufacturers necessary to design, install, and service systems on a national scale.Maintain DEI vehicles, tools, and equipment in a responsible and dedicated manner.Travel regionally for extended periods to supervise a variety of projects. Maintain an electrical license in good standing. Ability to manage very high-paced project schedulesStormwater Management ExperienceStrong management and leadership experience.
