The Associate Production Manager is responsible for tracking all aspects of the supply chain for on-time delivery. This position ensures all timelines are met and problems are solved to ensure the production schedule is maintained. The Associate Production Manager acts as the liaison between all agentsvendors and internal cross functional teams ensuring all timelines are met and production is approved produced according to the brand and customer requirements. The Associate Production Manager will work independently and guide TPR associates on production responsibilities while driving supply chain efficiency.Responsibilities:Develop & lead team associateExecute the production calendarMaintain relationships at all levels; externally with agentvendors overseas and internally with cross functional teamsPartner cross functionally with Design, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Planning Teams to ensure all approvals are in place for on-time deliveryManage the production process with overseas vendors including greige placement and reserving capacity in advanceResponsible for accuracy in SAP system at all timesMonitor the time & action calendar to meet key milestonesReview capacity plans and analyze output per line to be sure delivery requirements are feasible. Challenge the agentvendor as neededMaintain and distribute company procedures and onboard new vendors as requiredTrack and follow up with cross functional teams on pre-production activitiesFabric submits, counters for quality, lab dips, shade bands, hand looms, strike-offs, and bulk fabric Trim submits, cups, elastics, labels, packaging, hang tags, short, all accessories and components relative to the final productFabric and garment test resultsSubmits for Fit, PP (preproduction) and TOP (top of production) samplesSubmits for UPC and carton stickers, pass to Production for their co-share with Sales Ops Department for scan approval and check to PO for accuracyPackaging developments and submitsIdentify and raise quality and technical issues with overseas agentsvendorsTrack bulk materials, trims, and packaging to be in-factory in time to meet factory's production scheduleMonitor WIP output and propose solutions for low productivity if neededCompare forecasted units vs. actual bulked quantitiesManage the procedure for sample preparation for Retail Buyers (such as Target, Kohl's, etc.)Understand each retailer's requirements and provide information to the agentvendor on packing requirements, ticketing, hanger, etc.Arrange PP and TOP sample requirements for internal teams as well as corporateretailerFollow up on delivery schedule and communicate to cross functional teams delivery extensions when necessaryCollaborate with vendor on CBM's, vessel bookings, and uploading shipping docs in EZ CommerceReview PO release for paymentInitiate and manage chargebacks to agentsvendors for non-complianceQualifications:Proven garment manufacturing experience in Intimates7+ years + of production related experienceStrong knowledge of Intimates production including manufacturing, product engineering, product lifecycle, calendarExperience in management, trade regulations, fabric performance, garment construction, and testing standardsExcellent verbal & written communication, presentation, time management, detail-oriented, negotiation, and problem-solving skiEmbraces a fast-paced working environmentStrong excel skills - minimum intermediate level, word, and outlookSAP related experience a plusAirtable experience a plusAnnual salary starting at $85,000.The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
