IAM (Identity Access Management) Project Manager My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new six month plus Identity Access Management Project Manager opportunity available for a major firm with offices located in Holmdel, New Jersey, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, West Side of Manhattan at Hudson Yards and Stamford, Connecticut that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in either of the firms offices of your choice and two days remote. The ideal candidate must have a IT Security background. The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. This position pays $85.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis or $95.00 per hour on a Corp basis. The Corp rate is for independent contractors only and not third-party firms. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding companies. Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IAM Project Manager (PM) to join our Security team. The IAM PM will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Security projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of Security principles and technologies.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed in alignment with organizational security goals and IAM (Identity Access Management) standards.Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree would be a plus only and is NOT required.5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Security projects.Strong understanding of security concepts, including identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access management technologies.PMP, CISSP, or similar project management and security certifications are highly desirable.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.
