Sr. Network Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a Network Engineer with Cloud Networking, Next Gen Datacenter Architecture, Automation and Core Networking. Hybrid to downtown Chicago 1+ year contract RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary focus on design, implementation and support of network engineering changesEnsuring there are defined standards in place, manage the technical lifecycle of products and services and deliver changetransformation against created designsResponsible for the creation of Low-Level Design documents to meet requirements outlined in the High-Level DesignResponsible for the creation of detailed Implementation Plans for all engineering related activityProcurement activities relating to build and delivery of new servicesQUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Cloud Networking, Next Gen Datacenter Architecture, Automation and Core Networking. 5+ years of Network Architecture experience in a Global enterprise with responsibilities of designing complex networks with Global footprint and high-speedlow latency metrics. 15+ years hands on experience as a network engineering lead within a global enterprise scale organization (5,000-50,000 users) with both traditional Datacenter and Cloud (AzureAWS).First-hand experience of design engineering and building resilient and scalable engineering solutions, ideally within finance or investment banking.
