Job Description: This job is responsible for performing end-to-end investigations or investigations support functions of external financial crimes activities across one or more lines of business. Key responsibilities include conducting routine to complex investigations, including fraud committed by external parties, money laundering, or terrorist financing and acting as the liaison to Law Enforcement as required. Job expectations include providing coaching and inputs to investigators to improve case quality, ensure all cases are sufficiently investigated and findings are adequately documented. The Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Proficiency Coach role is responsible for delivering coaching and inputs to investigators to improve case quality, ensure all cases are sufficiently investigated and findings are adequately documented with the appropriate evidence reviewed. Proficiency Coaches are expected to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes, and makes recommendations on investigations, while identifying enhancements to ensure cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics Reviews Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and/or law enforcement Reports facts of the investigation to senior stakeholders, assisting in identifying potential operational or compliance risks and partners with Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Management and/or Front Line Units (FLU) to resolve investigations Performs quality control functions, training, communications, guidance, monitoring scenario development/enhancement input and testing, or law enforcement liaison responsibilities in an investigative support role Supports the identification of improvements to the investigations and case assignment processes to enhance the effectiveness of investigative procedures Participates in the case assignment process to distribute work across the investigative team Required Qualifications Minimum of five years of relevant experience Financial crime compliance support experience a must Previous proficiency coaching experience required Demonstrated ability to accept and implement candid feedback and skillfully provide 360 degree coaching to all levels from associate to manager Demonstrated strong leadership and coaching skills Independent worker and self-motivated Excellent organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated commitment to improving the team Able to adapt to change and various working environments Consistently shows pride in themselves and their work Responsible and accountable for actions and results Skilled at building relationships Able to adhere to a hybrid work schedule [M & F are work from home days] Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word; SharePoint, Webex, Mattermost Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience in financial services and/or a related government entity Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certifications a plus Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word; SharePoint, Webex, Mattermost Skills: Coaching Fraud Management Quality Assurance Regulatory Compliance Investigation Management Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines Management Risk Management Issue Management Reporting Written Communications Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - CT - Farmington - 70 Batterson Park Rd (CT2515), US - MD - Hunt Valley - 11333 MCCORMICK RD - HUNT VALLEY II (MD5032) Pay and benefits information Pay range $90,000.00 - $105,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
