Maintenance Tech (3rd Shift)

Compensation: Qualifications Working on large metal stamping presses (ton) Working with robotic welding machines (Fanuc pedestal welders) Experience in a manufacturing environment working with steel, iron, aluminum, and other various metals Benefits $32.50 per hour with $1.00 shift premium $2.00 per hour additional if you have Journeyman Card This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager Responsibilities Maintenance Tech Machine Repair - 3rd shift 3rd shift, 10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday with OT on weekends as required Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices Participate in an annual Tool Purchase Program Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems Removes and replaces worn or broken parts Job description Maintenance Tech Machine Repair - 3rd shift Company Description Automotive company delivering operational excellence, high-quality execution, and customer service.
