Under the license of our Team Physician and in coordination with the Office of Fitness & Recreation, provide ATC game coverage for our home and away women's and men's club ice hockey games. Perform duties in compliance with all rules and guidelines of the NATA, associated Conferences, and The University. * Evaluate injuries. Provide first aid or emergency care. Determine if an athlete should be referred to a physician for a more definitive diagnosis. * Serve as a liaison between the club teams, Team Physician and the Office of Fitness & Recreation. * Responsible for adequately documenting and reporting all injuries. Bachelor's Degree in sports medicine/athletic training or related field; current NATABOC certification; Pennsylvania Athletic Training Class A Certification required by start date. Current CPR/AED Certification for the Professional Rescuer. At least 1 year athletic training experience including preventive, evaluative, and rehabilitative skills. Ability to keep good records, including S.O.A.P. notes, daily rehab updates, and injury reports and proficiency with personal computer applications necessary. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to provide coverage for all women's club ice hockey games and/or men's club ice hockey games. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
