Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Rolling Meadows, IL $70 - 80K + 1.5x paid out after 8 hours of work each day Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the industrial manufacturing industry looking to hire a Field Service Engineer! This position involves a 50% in the office in, 30% day travel, and 20% overnight national travel split. Any hours over 8 in a day count as OT x 1.5 so plenty of potential for extra earnings. Responsibilities Machine installation Troubleshooting service (mechanical, electrical) Warranty service Preventive maintenance service Operator and Maintenance training Rebuilds Machine installation Troubleshooting service (mechanical, electrical) Warranty service Preventive maintenance service Operator and Maintenance training Rebuilds Qualifications: At least 2years of field service experience machine tool industry or grinding equipment industry Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics Strong Mechanical troubleshooting skills - experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, assemblies and sub-assemblies, changing motors, etc. Electrical troubleshooting skills - this person should know how to install, replace and troubleshoot sensors (fluid-based sensors, magnetic sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc.), relay, servomotors/drives, and basic PLC understandings The company is trying to add to the team ASAP so ACT NOW!
