Our team of experienced and compassionate providers offer their expertise to children and adults throughout Western NY. SUMMARY As a Registered Nurse - IV, your nursing experience and leadership abilities allow you to develop and implement quality care plans for patients, while acting as a mentor to others on the unit. STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: AIR Greece SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday Days ATTRIBUTES Compassionate, warm and patient focused Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior Ability to work in a fast-paced environment RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment. Perform initial and ongoing assessment of the patient; demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills; communicate and document assessment with interdisciplinary team; utilize all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family Planning & Implementation. Develop and document plan of care, treatment and services; collaborate interdisciplinary health team to deliver care; maintains an appropriate nurse-patient relationship and provides an exceptional experience for the patient and family Evaluation & Education. Evaluate, communicate and document patient responses to care; revise plan of care based on ongoing evaluations; ensure the patient receives and understands education/training specific to their needs and abilities Training. Provide training for new team members on the unit; assume role of teacher for nursing students and other students shadowing on the unit; act as a resource for other team members for both clinical and non-clinical matters EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA) PAY RANGE: $33.00 - $44.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
