Radiologic Technologist / Computed Tomography (CT Tech) A-Line Staffing is currently seeking an experienced (CT Tech), if you think you're a GREAT candidate and would like to be considered for immediate consideration call/text Day Green at 1+or email at Radiologic Technologist Job description: Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required. Radiologic Technologist Schedule & location: 11:00am -11:30pm (36 hours) Grand Blanc Township MI 48439 United States Radiologic Technologist Salary/Wage: 55.00 $/HR. - 66.00$/HR. (Based on experience) Radiologic Technologist Duties: Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for exams. Review clinical data on requisitions and gather additional patient history if needed. Prepare procedure rooms and maintain supplies, including linens. Set up equipment, analyze anatomy, and perform CT scans. Operate equipment manually to capture diagnostic images. Administer IV contrast media using power injectors and monitor for reactions, providing immediate care if necessary. Assist radiologists with sterile procedures, including biopsies. Ensure proper use of radiation protection techniques (ALARA). Manage PACS by resolving image exceptions and ensuring accurate delivery and image counts. Complete study indexing and documentation in the RIS system (e.g., study begin, end, and completion). Review clinical protocols with radiologists as needed before exams. Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and radiology systems for clinical and billing purposes. Consistently demonstrate professionalism through effective communication, teamwork, and respect for diversity. Radiologic Technologist Required Qualification Two years of RAD/CT technologist experience. Excellent customer service skills, with commitment to hospital standards. Self-directed, flexible, and team oriented. Willingness to learn and embrace new experiences. Respectful of diversity with a non-judgmental attitude. Radiologic Technologist Physical Requirements: May work in the hospital with a fixed unit or in an ambulatory Mobile Unit at one of the Medical Centers. May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized. May be exposed to high-voltage equipment. May be exposed to potentially contagious patients. Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients that would be in excess of 10 lbs. Preferred. Radiologic Technologist Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Preferred Education: BLS (Basic life support) Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligible.
