Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer Job Description We are looking for a Controls Engineer who will be responsible for fulfilling project assignments, individually or as part of a project team. Assignments may include involvement in multiple projects simultaneously. This individual must be able to: Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings. Develop technical documentation and specifications. Write PLC and HMI application software. Configure AC / DC drive equipment. Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing. Coordinate with project management, technical leads, and/or end customers to commission systems. Hard Skills Engineering detail development Technical documentation and specifications PLC and HMI application software writing AC / DC drive equipment configuration System test plan document development Simulation code development System testing Soft Skills Technical writing skills Ability to communicate technical information to internal partners and customers Coordination with project managers and design engineers Troubleshooting Commissioning systems Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Willoughby, Ohio. Work Environment This role will involve around 25% travel, with all expenses 100% covered. When not traveling, this will be an in-office career at a brand new, recently built facility.
