Job Title: Lead Controls Engineer Job Description This large material handling company is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer, this person will lead a team of 3-4 CE's, with responsibilities including PLC troubleshooting or oversight of PLC troubleshooting editing, project oversight and delegation, and applying mechatronics understanding for problem-solving. Position will be remote work outside of traveling onsite to customers. Hours: 7am - 4pm 45-50 hour work weeks flexible in/out times Travel: 25-30%, but can get up to 40% during busy time 3 weeks PTO to start Location: hubs in Grand Rapids, MI, Milwaukee, WI, Atlanta, GA, and Plano, TX. Must Have Qualifications 5 years experience in PLC troubleshooting/editing Mechatronics Project lead experience S R. or lead experience Additional Details This group uses Beckoff PLC's - that is not required for the position can utilize any PLC. They utilize Jira software - all their tasks are in that format. Position will start as a 6 month contract and get extended after that - will transition into a permanent role as long as engineer is performing as expected.
