Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Expectations Registered Respiratory Therapist Pediatrics * RCP will be proficient in the following categories as applicable.... • Medicated Aerosol Therapy o Small volume nebulizers o Breath actuated nebulizer o Vibrating mesh nebulizers o Patient Education for aerosol, MDI,DPI therapy o DPI, MDI & holding chamber o Pentamidine Administration o Medication carts, Omnicell o Bar Coding Medication Administration • Airway clearance therapy o Clapping, vibration and directed cough o Positive Expiratory Pressure (PEP) and oscillatory PEP o Hyperinflation therapy (IS, EZPAP) o High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation o Intermittent Percussive Ventilation (IPV) o Acoustic Airway Clearance o Cough Assist • Airway management o Suctioning o Tracheostomy care o Manual ventilation o Intubation assist • Assisted ventilation o Mechanical ventilation o Ventilator system checks o CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV o Negative Pressure Ventilation o Initiation and management of NAVA • High Risk Delivery o Surfactant administration o NRP protocol o T-piece ventilation o Intubation • Blood gas sampling o Blood gas analysis o Blood gas interpretation • Humidity Therapy o Heated humidity.
