Engineer in Training, Traffic ID Job Locations US-OH-Cincinnati | US-OH-Columbus | US-OH-Cleveland | US-OH-Dayton Remote No Overview Woolpert is currently seeking an Engineer in Training responsible for transportation projects across a variety of scales, clients, and locations. This position's responsibilities range from data collection through project development and final construction. Woolpert's traffic engineering team provides safe and efficient operation and interaction within communities for all modes of transportation, from pedestrian to motor vehicles. Responsibilities Work alongside and under the advisement of licensed professionals to complete civil and transportation tasks. Provide technical support in various aspects of traffic analysis, planning, and design. Prepare project designs, plans, and reports related to infrastructure projects. Demonstrate knowledge and application of engineering principles with the ability to complete fundamental calculations. Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives (such as scope, schedule, and deliverables) are met. Qualifications ABET accredited bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 0 to 1 years of professional experience. EIT/FE certification or the ability to achieve within 12 months of hire. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to write reports. Experience in any of the following is a plus: Traffic software, GIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, and/or MicroStation. Preparation of traffic impact studies and traffic capacity analysis. Signal and signal system design. Planning and corridor studies. Safety studies. Intelligent transportation systems. Interchange justification/modification.
