Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Full-time Shift/Schedule: Day SUMMARY: The Senior Locksmith assists with daily operations in the locksmith shop, performing general locksmith and security maintenance on locking mechanisms across Grady Health System. They promptly report security issues and any potential compromises of lock and key systems for prompt resolution. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance checks on locking mechanisms throughout the hospital premises. Respond promptly to service requests related to locks and security systems. Install, repair, and replace locks and key systems as needed. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that security protocols are followed and maintained. Keep detailed records of all locksmith activities and service requests. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma Certified completion of a Locksmith trade program Five (5) years locksmith experience in a healthcare setting or in a residential/industrial/commercial setting Certified Locksmith (CL) that is accredited, recognized, and verifiable from a locksmith school (e.g., Foley Belsaw is a recognized locksmith school) Reads and understands blueprints Good computer skills Consistent teamwork and values of patients and organizational goals Proficient written and oral communication Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and people-oriented.
