Experienced painter - prefer professional. Duties include fixing and repairing wall damage. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor this position is responsible for interior and exterior finishes including painting, wall repair, minor to moderate drywall and plaster repair and finishing and light carpentry associated with maintenance of wall and ceiling finishes at the apprentice level of the painting trade. Receives direction from lead mechanic and supervisor and other mechanics assigned to maintenance operations. Must be able to work with little direct supervision as team member is responsible for ascertaining what maintenance or repair is required, determining its priority and responding appropriately. Customer Service orientation is mandatory. Job Requirements High School Degree in any related building trade Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree Construction trades background with particular knowledge of paint and coating selection and application Drywall and plaster repair Light carpentry skills Ability to operate keyboard and specialized work order management software 3-4 years experience painting, drywall, or related field.
