The Business Intelligence Program Specialist (BIPS) oversees and manages the definition, design, and execution of the analytical solutions in our Financial Services & Solutions (FSS) organization to ensure value driven outcomes. The BIPS facilitates effective communication and collaboration between our FSS towers and developers to optimize the value generated for McKesson by our team. This role entails project management including scoping, prioritization, resource allocation, communicate progress/issues, testing, UAT, deployment, and support. *Our ideal candidate must reside in the Dallas, TX area, or one of our other hub cities including the areas of Atlanta, GA, or Richmond, VA, in order to work a hybrid schedule. The work will primarily be remote from home with occasional in-office work. *We are unable to provide sponsorship now or in the future for this role. Key Responsibilities: Create new functional initiatives (dashboards/reports) for teams supported Ability to effectively communicate (written/oral) technical concepts to business leaders Create Business Canvas, Understand Project Scope, Outcome, Risk, Project timeliness, Resource Planning, and Feedback Looping Review execution of project, and act as scrum master of planning the sprint sessions, work closely with Senior Business Advocate to review of the completed tasks and flag for any risk/issues Review UAT & validation, feedback induction, and final release to the project stakeholders Understand and document value generation and identify opportunities to use analytics Serve as Point of Contact between business and developer teams Understand business priorities and able to swiftly adapt when changes happen Minimum Requirements: Our ideal candidate must have a degree or equivalent experience, and at least 4 years of relevant experience Critical Skills: Technical Project Management experience Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills Position requires demonstrated experience with the following: BI and Analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel Familiarity with Client-Server architecture and RESTful APIs Proficiency with using Python and/or R for data science and automation Familiarity with application architecture Some familiarity of bash and Linux command lines Familiarity with cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS) Other Skills: Familiarity with other database architectures (Oracle, Snowflake, Postgres) is a plus We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets.
