This position is remote three days a week and two days in the Los Angeles area sites. Strong Excel experience. ABOUT THE ROLE The purpose of this position is to provide building maintenance and office administration support to company managed buildings. WHAT YOU'LL DO Analyze work orders and assist facilities team by issuing work orders in a sequential flow to individual technicians or vendors. Coordinate the engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors and vendors. Work closely with Maintenance Technicians to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources needed. Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes, detailing how work is planned, scheduled and completed. Work with various team to optimize the mixes of planned and scheduled work, scheduled (but not planned) work, and unscheduled work. Provide regular statistical reporting to the management and client showing quantified evidence of the productive use of the work force. Use guidelines, set by management, to develop, implement, and lead preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies. Perform annual review of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and balanced 12-month schedules for all technicians and vendors. Determine appropriate predictive maintenance tasks. Train in the use of predictive maintenance techniques. Analyze predictive maintenance data for trends. Initiate corrective actions as appropriate. Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training. None. Valid driver's license, if driving required in conjunction with job duties. Facility Management and CFC certification is desired. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems using basic analytical skills. This position requires a candidate with intermediate understanding of Excel Skills and Vertical Lookup (VLOOKUP). Experience in SI. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Planner position is $33.65 per hour and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Planner position is $38.46 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
