Location: Albany, NY Category: Information Technology Posted On: Thu Jun Job Description: FUNCTION & SCOPE: Reporting to the Director of ITS Operations, the IT Production Support Analyst is responsible for delivering on daily production activities (financial and healthcare related data transactions) and the creation and implementation of the nightly schedule for the Research Foundations night operators. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for data transactions that directly impact payroll, healthcare benefits, and accounts payable systems for all Research Foundation (RF) employees and vendors. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and time management are critical success factors for this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Support Create and maintain the RF's nightly Oracle Production Schedule. Provide the prepared nightly schedule for execution to the Oracle Production Operator staff for execution. Provide regular updates to the Oracle Production Operations to account for holidays and other events that may impact the execution of the nightly schedule. Perform daily reviews of the completed nightly schedule to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain a repository of all nightly schedules for audit-related reviews. Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues that were encountered with the performance of the nightly schedule. Perform daily, weekly, and bi-weekly financial, healthcare, and vendor transactional data transfers. Verify the successful transfer of data, including: Direct Deposit Data Healthcare Benefits Data Credit Card Vendor Data Learning & Development System Data Payroll Data Retiree Benefits Data Medicare Data PCS Award Data Perform ad-hoc data transactions, including: Payroll Reversals Legacy Retirement Additions Virgin Pulse File Transfers Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data transfer issues. Support and facilitate production activities, including: Bulk Imports Oracle Organizational Changes Purchasing and Accounts Receivable Signature Processing Ensuring all documents are up to date and 100% accurate. Perform vendor check printing. Evaluate and recommend continuous process improvements for production operation activities, including automation. Provide training to employees and assist with expert knowledge on various IT software such as Webmail, MS Teams, etc. Ensure effective communication with end users, including campus staff, ITS, and central office departments. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Job Requirements: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for degree requirements. One (1) to three (3) years in a general business environment scheduling processes. Familiar with business applications, including Oracle and Oracle Business Intelligence. Strong organizational skills: proven ability to manage time and priorities, ability to manage schedules and tasks with an attention to detail. Strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Have a strong desire for service excellence, professional conduct, and continuous improvement. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relations. Motivated and enthusiastic team player driven to provide superior service. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of tools and applications. Familiarity with the ITIL framework for superior service delivery. Compensation for this position: The compensation for this role is between $58,000 to $62,000. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications.
