Location: Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a Central Billing Associate. You will verify and post daily receipts, resolve any discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of invoices, debits, and credits. Additionally, you'll oversee the tracking of all claims to ensure smooth billing operations. Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus eligibility for annual bonus How you will make an impact Responsible for accurate cash posting and follow-up on all claims with discrepancies and adjustments within their assigned functional area Translate internal charge files to appropriate billing formats for electronic and manual claims submission to third-party and private payers Perform insurance follow-up and collections of accounts Initiate appeals corrected claims submissions or submit medical records in response to payer requests for information or claims denials Perform appropriate cash posting and adjustments for subsequent billing or account resolution Provide excellent customer service, resolves both internal and external customer issues within an appropriate time frame, show persistence, and seeks alternatives when obstacles arise What you will need Minimum of 2 years of healthcare accounts receivable experience, including billing, collections, or related roles required Knowledge of Federal, State and third party electronic claims submission, denials and reimbursement practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must have effective organizational skills and a high attention to detail Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
