Job Summary: As CooperVision (CVI) continues to grow, this new position offers an exciting opportunity to set our worldwide marketing organization up for success by overseeing processes, tools and compliance that will enable the marketing teams to perform their jobs successfully. This position plays a critical role in determining and implementing process rigor via procedural management for our marketing organization. With an emphasis on the organizations ad/promo procedure, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing and deploying move-forward ad/promo procedural changes that account for Medical Device Regulation (MDR), CAPAs, audits and other identified business needs, meeting compliance standards while also supporting the needs of the marketing teams. They will ensure CooperVision has balanced and well-thought-out global procedures that enables the marketing organization to be compliant with laws and regulations while still being efficient, creative and compelling in our messaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing other areas of our process infrastructure, from tools that enable the marketing organization to operate efficiently to data-driven insights that influence processes and ways of working. The position requires an experienced marketing professional who is highly-process driven, with a detail-oriented and data driven mindset, who can simplify complex procedures and processes to drive compliance throughout the organization. In this highly collaborative role, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, problem-solver and able to balance the needs of marketing teams with legal and regulatory requirements to make sound recommendations for paths forward. Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Marketing procedure management & compliance: Help drive important ad/promo-related projects or workstreams related to business needs, audits, and CAPAS, as well as procedures for other organizational needs. Establish new procedures as identified as needed for the organization. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand considerations and needs of the business, as well as gaining a good understanding of how the marketing organization currently operates. Make procedural recommendations that ensure CooperVision has balanced and well-thought-out global procedures that satisfy the needs of different departments. This includes enabling the marketing organization to comply with laws and regulations while still meeting their need to be efficient and develop compelling and creative messaging and marketing claims. Obtain business alignment on procedural changes. Update procedures and related documents. Route through QA approval process. Conduct training to ensure organizational awareness and compliance. Track compliance and provide monthly report outs on compliance health. Ongoing procedural maintenance Marketing claim management ensuring claims are reviewed and renewed as deemed appropriate. Partner with IT and QA for QMS system refinements. Have a continuous pulse on the needs of the business, driving strategic process improvements where necessary Day-to-day Ad/Promo Management: Ongoing QMS management for Marketing Claims and Promotional Materials. Serve as procedural SME: Answer questions, help problem-solve, implement training to ensure awareness and compliance, where necessary, assist with audits and CAPAs. Conduct bi-weekly ad/promo meetings. Other organizational rigor & compliance: Manage a variety of processes and related work instructions critical to the marketing organization. This includes: ad/promo, PR and digital approval processes, project intake process and others. Compliance and audits of established processes, from marketing claim generation to utilization of the DAM for final promotional materials. Metric and report outs: Manages teams data-driven metrics and reports out to provide visibility to the organization. Where necessary, analyze results. Includes but is not limited to: monthly departmental dashboard, project adoption rates Manages Teams agency bench. Identify and implement opportunities for corporate governance to ensure compliance to master brand. Identify other areas of opportunity for best practices, protocols, and standards within the Global Marketing department. Global Marketing technology and tools management: Manage internal global marketing tools and licenses, including but not limited to DAM, workflow and eLearning. Negotiate annual contracts, monitor and optimize team usage, stay abreast of software updates and communicate out accordingly. Understand the needs of the business and identify, where possible, tool capabilities to satisfy business needs, such as introducing templates to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely project delivery. Ensure tool usage uptake. Conduct training as needed. Where necessary, oversee the selection, deployment, and use of new tools. Manage from submission to IT intake process through to training rollout and ongoing maintenance. For cross-organizational tools, such as eLearning and Project Management, serve as a Global Marketing representative on task force teams, identifying and representing the needs of the Global Marketing department. Serve as tools SME: Answer questions, help problem-solve, and implement training to ensure awareness and compliance. Other duties as assigned. Travel Requirements: Up to 5% travel, domestic and international. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong project management skills with experience in goal setting and deadline management. A critical thinker with the ability to make strategic decisions that balance the needs of the business and the marketing teams with the requirements of compliance (Legal & regulatory) teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functions within a global organization. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. Data-driven: comfortable with data analysis and using insights to drive process improvements. Tech savvy: experienced with technology tools and platforms relevant to marketing operations. Keen interest in identifying and learning new tools. Excellent writing, speaking, presenting editing, research, and active listening skills. Excellent organization, time management and prioritization abilities. Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Experience: 5 years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on process management and operational efficiency. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.
