If you identify as a radical or progressive Philanthropic donor or are an experienced nonprofit Fundraiser, are you interested in sharing insights on how to simplify, diversify and improve global philanthropy by engaging in a short virtual interview-based research exercise? About the Nonprofit: We are a dynamic social justice nonprofit committed to advancing equity, decolonization, and progressive philanthropy at scale. We address the diversity and impact gap in global philanthropy by gathering insights from seasoned practitioners, donors, advisors, and funder collaboratives. Assignment Overview: We are looking for passionate and progressive philanthropy donors, fundraisers, and advisors to participate in a short-term ProBono Volunteer research assignment. This involves short engaging interviews designed to extract valuable insights and knowledge from experienced global philanthropy professionals with an active passion for Africa. Your Role: Respond to interview questions on a virtual call with nonprofit leader Learn about new practices, innovative strategies, and impactful approaches in social justice and progressive philanthropy. Contribute to a comprehensive understanding of effective philanthropy that prioritizes diversity, equity, and decolonization. Why Volunteer with Us? Criteria & Process For Volunteers Volunteers must be nonprofit Fundraisers, Philanthropists or Funder Collaborative / Funding Network Members Volunteers must have a passion and genuine interest in Innovation, Global Equality, Social Justice, Systems Change and Africa in particular Qualified Volunteer Donors / Philanthropists will be invited to join a call for a short sequence of open-ended questions to share insights This Volunteer engagement will only take minutes of your time and will help to inform the work of underserved nonprofits in West Africa. Objectives : To engage with global philanthropists seeking to simplify and diversify their giving. To help Philanthropists learn more about how to overcome existing personal and systemic barriers to achieving real impact or correcting historic harm.
