The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and a passion for crafting engaging content. We're looking for someone who is equally creative as they are data-driven. This role will be instrumental in driving user acquisition, increasing brand awareness, and optimizing our social media campaigns for maximum ROI. The right candidate is curious, willing to experiment, and passionate about making a difference in the music industry. They would be able to think critically about the Soundcloud audience and how to reach them. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product marketing, analytics) to ensure campaign alignment with overall marketing objectives and create a distribution strategy Work with Product Marketing, Copywriters, and Creative Producers to ideate, strategize, and develop effective creatives for paid media campaigns across multiple channels Proficient understanding of social media platforms (Youtube, Meta, TikTok, and etc) to craft effective paid marketing strategies with respect to each platforms' unique audience and needs Ability to analyze paid media performance to gather insights that could drive brand strategy, product development, and media distribution to effectively bring in new subscribers Experience running paid media campaigns across different platforms with a close attention to detail. Media planning and budgeting experience is a plus Support relationships with external vendors, agencies, and media partners to optimize campaign execution and drive business results Able to export and analyze performance data to gather creative insights, audience segmentation, and prove ROAS. Experience with Looker or Power BI is a plus Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance marketing to proactively identify new opportunities and innovative strategies Manage the day-to-day execution of campaigns across a variety of channels including Google Marketing Platforms, App Stores, and Social Media with minimal support Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and other key performance indicators (KPIs) Implement A/B testing methodologies to continuously improve campaign performance and optimize landing pages, ad copy, creative assets, and audience targeting Track and report on marketing campaign performance, providing regular stakeholder insights and recommendations Experience and Background: 3+ years of performance marketing experience, focusing on social media marketing Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms Hands-on experience with ad trafficking, campaign optimization, and performance analysis Working knowledge of Mobile Marketing models including attribution models and SKAN data Ability to develop and implement optimization strategies based on data insights A strong work ethic with agency experience is a plus Curious and open mind, self-learner Comfortable with ambiguity Must love music The salary range for this role is $95,000-110,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location.
