Supplyforce The Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, managing, and administrating all human resource activities and functions in a department of one, in support of business objectives. In addition, administers the payroll function, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll updates and transactions including new hires, terminations, and all related changes to pay, taxes, garnishments, etc. Maintains and oversees the maintenance of employee records Ensures compliance with federal, state and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices Recruits, interviews, and tests employees to fill vacant positions Plans and conducts new employee orientations Manages day-to-day employee maintenance, new hires and terminations Administers employee benefit programs Analyzes and evaluates services, coverage, and options available through insurance companies to determine programs that best meet the needs of the organization Coordinates transfer of data to external vendors, plan providers, auditors Works with management staff to counsel employees with disciplinary issues, advise on appropriate resolution, and mediate employee grievances. Coordinates management and staff training as necessary Conducts compensation analysis within labor market to determine competitive rates Works with senior staff on any personnel legal issues and engages outside legal assistance as necessary Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations Performs any remaining human resource administrative tasks not mentioned above Handles any other corporate duties and/or projects, as assigned, for the benefit of the organization Experience: minimum 7-10 years' experience in Human Resource administration with progressively increasing responsibilities. Knowledge of ADP WFN for payroll, HRIS, ATS, Performance management Knowledge of federal Department of Labor regulations and state employment regulations Ability to build professional working relationships. Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiating skills Excellent problem-solving skills Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a related field, Advanced degree preferred.
