Job Summary: Selectek is seeking a BIM Modeler/Technician to serve as a single point of contact between the field, BIM team, and the shop for BIM projects. This role will be working out of our prefab division in Butler, WI. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a single point of contact between the field, BIM team, and the shop for BIM projects. Communicate with engineers, field foremen, project managers, and general contractors. Work with foremen to develop internal schedules and ensure deadlines are met with high-quality drawings. Assist general foremen with RFIs. Attend kickoff, design, and fab meetings, offering valuable input. Create a positive team environment by maintaining contact with construction and prefab teams. Populate a majority of a model without field MSOPs, keeping up to date with changes and offering input in BIM development. Prepare BIM drawings for project documentation and receive updates from engineers and designers as the design develops. Update drawings based on coordination with field personnel as the project progresses. Create 3D BIM drawings from 2D plans accurately displaying the intended electrical installation. Create detailed installation and prefabrication drawings, including assembly directions. Attend coordination meetings with other trades, including travel to and sometimes work at remote job sites. Set up Navisworks files and incorporate models from other trades. Create clash detection sets in Navisworks with other building systems involved in the BIM process. Required Qualifications: Associateí¢â‚¬â„¢s Degree or higher. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge and ability to read and understand design and construction documents. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly. Preferred Qualifications: High proficiency using Revit. Compensation and Benefits: Pay range: $65,000 í¢â‚¬" $85,000 based on experience, plus a yearly performance bonus. 401K: match 4% employee contribution and up to 11% profit sharing contribution. Quarterly reimbursement of out-of-pocket medical expenses once the deductible is met (no reimbursement for dental and vision expenses).
