Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: Lead and oversee specific engineering assignments in the field of expertise, coordinating efforts among various stakeholders. Establish design criteria, ensure correctness of drawings, and represent the department to plan and coordinate work. Provide in-house mechanical engineering expertise for normal, emergency, and critical projects. Engineer and design projects to support Facilities' budgets, including buildings, yards, and various operations. Support various commercial building/yard mechanical systems and ensure compliance with building codes. Review and approve contractor designs, calculations, and submittals. Job Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience in design and application of engineering principles. Experience in Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning. Familiarity with NYS and NYC Building Codes, equipment sizing, and selection.
