Do you have at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing-type role? Staffmark, in partnership with our automotive manufacturing client, is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician in Fort Wayne, IN. The candidate selected will be responsible for the effective completion of maintenance and preventive maintenance activities for all tooling. Pay: $22-$30 per hour (Based on experience) Shift Details: We have all shifts available to meet your work-life balance needs! 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift availability. Traning Hours: We ask that candidates who apply be flexible and available to train on 1st shift hours. Essential Functions: Repairing and maintaining existing tooling. Safely and effectively operating Tool Room equipment. Track all hours and complete all documentation daily. Maximize the utilization of time and equipment. Provide technical support for the Maintenance Manager, Shift Supervisors, Processors, and Mold Setters. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Shift Supervisors, Processors, Mold Setters, and support staff to ensure continuity of efforts. Housekeeping duties as assigned. A 2-year degree in a Maintenance or Tooling field of study or equivalent work experience. Experienced in the maintenance and repair of large injection molds. A Crane operating and forklift license. Must be able to provide own tools. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
