Job Description Mechanical Engineer - Erlanger, KY This individual will lead the Plant Engineering responsibilities for the Erlanger campus, which includes two manufacturing facilities as well as two ADM administration buildings. Responsibilities include strategic and tactical management of facilities, utilities, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. Job Duties: Manage facility utilities infrastructure, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Chilled Water, Domestic Hot & Cold Water, Compressed Air, etc. Oversee facilities management, including grounds, buildings, employee services, security, etc. Establish and maintain relationships with local authorities Integrate Safety and Food Safety into the site's facilities action plan Provide leadership for site Disaster Recovery and Emergency Action plans, in collaboration with EHS and senior management Act as a role model for safety and actively participate in safety programs. Supports quality and food safety management program Assess and develop an action plan to optimize the facility's critical operational systems Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facilities, utilities and related equipment Collaborate with process maintenance team as required Maintain and identify improvements for site utilities Determine facility specifications and standards Collaborates with project teams to assist with the implementation of facility/utility-related project scope Develops and manages projects including purchasing of materials and supplies, management of change, equipment installation, budget tracking, training, and startup. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed Coordinate and oversee contractors performing on-site work in areas of responsibility Coordinate the maintaining of the site's grounds Conduct inspections of the facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations Manage and develop Facility Management team members Requirements: B.S. in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in Plant engineering or facilities management, or related fields Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system Experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling CAD experience a plus Excited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
