Fredonia, St. George Enterprises, Payroll Administrator/HR Generalist S. St George Enterprises Inc in Fredonia New York is currently looking to add an experienced Payroll Administrator/HR Generalist to our team. Job Description: As the Payroll Administrator/HR Generalist, you will be administering payroll and acting as the advocate for all employees at the company. Your core job duties will involve issuing and distributing paychecks and direct deposits, benefits withholding, payroll deductions and garnishments, federal and state payroll tax deposits and returns, new hire reports, federal payroll summaries, W-2s, wage and hour law compliance, paid leave, vacation and sick time reporting, on-boarding, and much more. Key Responsibilities: Administer and oversee payroll for the entire company (Office/Shop personnel, Laborers, Operators and Truck Drivers). Organize and coordinate critical HR Functions such as on-boarding, benefit enrollment/management, drug testing, background checks, and more. Ensure compliance with federal/state wage, hour laws, and employment regulations. Manage relationship with third party service providers including workers compensation, health insurance, 401k benefits, and more. Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel. Experience with Computer Ease & Field Ease Software a plus. Experience with County Prevailing Wage Rates is a plus. HR/Payroll Experience preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must work well in a team setting.
