Estate Planning Attorney Category: Legal Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH- Estate Planning Attorney Location: Central NJ Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 Description: Multiple openings in the Financial/Wealth planning business. No experience needed in the financial industry, but would be a plus. Will be a part of a team along with financial planners, who are seeking to create new clients, deliver great financial planning with excellent legal advice, guidance services as a part of the long-term plans. Current estate attorneys will help train if needed. You will be a key part of education, protecting clients on the legal, tax, retirement issues that come with a diversified long-term financial plan. Target clients: Individuals, families and small businesses with investments of $800K to $3M in a long-term financial plan for growth and security over time. Qualifications: Licensed in NJ with 1+ years of legal experience preferably in estate/tax planning but not a must. Learn to be able to present and draft revocable and irrevocable trust Primary areas include estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals and families, estate administration, income tax, transfer tax and charitable planning, as well as pass-through entity (LLCs and LPs) and business succession planning. No book of business required. Experience and expertise in Federal and New Jersey tax law required. Licensed in New Jersey. Solid work ethic and ambitious in a team context - not at expense of team. Problem-solving manner, ability to work with variety of personalities and under pressure. Team orientated, including experience working in groups (with lawyers, paralegals, as well as clients). Client service orientation and high touch responsiveness expected. Financial background pertinent to client base and transactions necessary. Proficiency with technology - ideally, self-sufficient in generation of routine work product. Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
