We're seeking a skilled professional to collaborate with our expert team on cutting-edge projects in stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, culvert and bridge design, and resiliency efforts. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that drive sustainable development in water resources, ecological restoration, transportation, and environmental projects. Responsibilities Lead tasks under the supervision of the project manager on multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, stormwater design or water quality focus including interaction with staff and clients Prepare and review stormwater management and natural system design drawings and specifications Prepare technical reports, plans and specifications Develop project proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with them Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional aspects Responsible for project task management including task financial performance Qualifications BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering or related discipline 3+ years of professional water resources engineering and analysis experience Experience preparing design plans & specifications, and preparing technical reports Experience with task management and people management/mentoring Experience with hydrologic/ hydraulic modeling and stormwater policy and permitting preferred EIT/PE licensure preferred Proficiency with relevant software including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel We are VHB!
