This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. The Corporate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to our organization on a wide range of corporate legal matters. This includes transactional, real estate transactions, contract reviews, equity formations, corporate law, and corporate governance. Responsibilities: The Corporate Attorney will be responsible for: 1. Providing legal advice and guidance on all kinds of legal matters such as corporate law, real estate transactions, equity formations, and corporate governance. 2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. 3. Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business. 4. Representing the company in legal proceedings, if necessary. 5. Assisting in the development of company policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 6. Providing training to company personnel on legal topics, as needed. 7. Collaborating with outside counsel, as necessary. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Corporate Attorney position should have the following qualifications: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to, and a member in good standing of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar. 3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm. 4. Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate transactions, equity formations, and corporate governance. Bankruptcy experience a plus! 5. Proven experience in transactional work and contract review. 6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft legal documents. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure. 10. High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
