Compensation : $37.34 - $37.34 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : Shift Description : Night shifts - 40 hours Travel Contract - Registered Respiratory Therapist - two openings Indianapolis, Indiana, United States - 46260 Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Number of positions: 1 Shift: Night shifts- 40 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/26/2023 Hourly pay: $37.34 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay : $1,400 JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Respiratory Therapy Shift Timings: Night Shift and timing 19:00 - 07:30 Hours Roles & Responsibilities Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome. Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provide information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team code. QUALIFICATIONS Two years level 3 or level 4 NICU experience NRP Prefer Jet and Oscillator experience. Level 4 NICU Attend high risk deliveries Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
