Salary : $57,143.00 - $72,507.00 Annually Location : Grand Rapids MI, MI Job Type: Permanent Job Number: Department: Fleet Management Opening Date: 09/10/2024 Closing Date: 12/10/2024 11:59 PM Eastern Nature of Work The purpose of this job is to perform preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs to heavy equipment with a variety of gasoline and diesel engines. Responsible for preparing work orders and the requisition of parts and equipment for repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Diagnoses and repairs trucks and equipment Performs all necessary repairs to maintain the fleet Orders the correct parts to repair units Documents equipment or truck repairs and repaired times electronically Provides preventative maintenance services of all heavy equipment Looks up and requests parts as needed Keeps and maintains a clean work environment Performs related work as required Please Note: This position is 2nd Shift. Hours: 2:00 pm to 12:00 AM, Days: Four, 10 hour work days. A schedule of Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday will be assiged.
